Chapels at PC are typically on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the Vermeer Auditorium at Pella Christian High School. The goal of PC's chapels are to provide an opportunity for mid-week worship, encourage students’ spiritual growth, build a spiritual community, give an opportunity for students to use their creative gifts in worship to God, and to develop students as leaders in worship.
Chapels are planned by a student Chapel Planning class, which meets every day during second hour. Part of their planning involves guest speakers and guest praise teams from across the country.
The faculty contact and advisor for chapel is Shannon Dykstra (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please feel free to contact us with ideas you'd like to share for chapel!
The student body of Pella Christian High School is working to fill the "hole" in our gospel by raising money to build a well through World Vision. This well will give clean water to 400 people for over 20 years. We have been challenged and impacted in our small groups this year to make a difference, and this is one way our school is working to make that happen. If you would like to make a donation or have any questions about this project please contact either Lauren Jungling or Allison Johnson.
