Bonnie Van Wyngarden and her Food Service ‘crew’ have been serving delicious and economical meals to the students at Pella Christian High for over 30 years. They do much more than simply prepare tasty food, they also serve generous helpings of love and encouragement to our students.
22/23 School Year Costs:
1 Lunch = $2.85
20 Lunches = $57 (App. 1 month of meals)
90 Lunches = $256.50 (App. 1 semester)
180 Lunches = $513 (Full year)
Extra Milk = .30 per serving
Any amount may be deposited into your child’s account at registration or during the school year. Payment may be sent with students their first day of school (checks made payable to PCHS Food Service) but there must be a balance in the student’s lunch fund by the first day of classes if they intend to eat hot lunch. During the school year, students will be informed in the lunch line when their fund is running low so they can tell their parents.
Please note that students often charge break food and extra milk to their lunch accounts. These charges will all show up as ‘extra milk’ entries on their account. To deposit additional funds into a student account, please send payment to PCHS (checks made payable to PCHS Food Service).
