Tuition and Fees
REGISTRATION can happen in two ways again this year: Parents are encouraged to register in-person at the school. In-person registration will take place the week of July 16-20. Office personnel can help you register from 8:00 AM- 12:30 Noon every day that week. Parents may also register on Wednesday(18th) evening that week from 5:00PM - 9:00PM. Board members will be available that night to answer any financial aid questions that you may have. Parents will also be able to register their PCHS student(s) on-line at www.pceagles.org from July 2-July 20. In both cases, the enrollment fees and all past due tuition must be paid before the registration process can be completed.
ENROLLMENT FEE: The enrollment fee for 07-08 will be $550. However there will be a $50 reduction if you register your student by July 20 (in-person or on-line) and we receive your Enrollment fee and Student Fee checks by July 20, 2007. Enrollment fee check will not be deposited until September 1, 2007.
ANNUAL GRANT AWARDS and STO AWARDS notices of qualified families will be/were sent out in mid June. Families who feel that they need additional financial assistance, and do not have opportunities for financial assistance from their local church congregation, should not hesitate to contact any member of the finance committee or the school office.
The actual cost of education at PCHS for 2007-08 is $6,098 per student, which is different than "tuition." Thankfully, we have an endowment fund that provides interest in the amount of $311 per student and additional other gifts, thereby reducing the cost.
TUITION balance (after registration fee paid) for the coming school year will be $4,745 per student. This is a 3.5% or $178 increase over the past year. Parents who are members of churches that participate in a "Covenantal Plan" make their contributions directly through their congregation. All other families contribute the tuition directly to the school over 9 months, at the rate of $527,22/mo (minus any grant awards), compared to $507.44 this past year.
STUDENT FEES Also due at the time of registration is one check for all student fees, textbook fee, class fees, Family Service Fee, etc. also, NEW THIS YEAR part of the fees will include an activity card which will allow students to get into all home school-sponsored activities for free and we will no longer be collecting activity fees for each activity that they participate in. The cards will be given to the students during the first few days of school.
Student fees will be as follows. ($205 for 9th grade, $225 for 10th grade, $245 for 11th grade, and $265 for 12th grade). These checks will also be held until September 1. Also, $60 of these fees will be refunded to you when you work your four 2007-08 Family Service Program Hours.
