The Eagle Basketball Academy teaches 3rd to 6th graders basketball fundamentals. Students who attend Pella Christian, Oskaloosa Christian, Sully Christian, Peoria Christian and Newton Christian on a full time basis are invited to participate.
The program focuses on skills and 3v3 sessions led by PC head coaches and varsity players, individual team practices led by parent coaches, and participation in various AAU tournaments. The pillars of our academy are:
- Participation – Our programs will be inclusive to all skills and abilities. The goal is to give kids who want to play, a place to play.
- Sportsmanship – Players are taught to compete with integrity, respect opponents and officials, and honor the game.
- Teamwork – Success in basketball comes from learning to play unselfishly, communicate well, and encourage one another.
- Faith in Action – As a Christ-centered academy, we strive to use basketball as a way to glorify God, demonstrate Christ-like character, and grow in servant leadership.

The Eagle Basketball Academy also hosts an annual Take Flight Tournament at the grade school and high school campuses each January, bringing together athletes and families for competition, community, and celebration. The 2026 Take Flight tournament is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Saturday morning 3X3 league & skill sessions will be held on November 1, 8, 15, and 22 and December 6 and 13, 2025.
