Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Pella Christian Schools.

We partner with families seeking a Christ-centered education, where students are educated and nurtured to discover their individual, God-given gifts to serve in His kingdom.

Our goal is to maintain optimal class size in each grade level, and our admission/enrollment process helps to achieve this goal. Students may be placed in a wait pool during the admission/enrollment process. We prayerfully hope these students will be able to join our school family when a spot becomes available. 

In order for your student to be considered for enrollment, NEW families should follow this process:

Tour Pella Christian

We can’t wait to show you around our campuses! Our Admissions Director will schedule a campus tour and meeting with you. Your personalized tour allows us to get to know your family and will include opportunities to connect with other students and teachers.

Apply to Pella Christian

Mission-aligned families are invited to complete our Online Application which opens at 9:00am on November 15. Items requested in the application include academic records, class and language track preferences, parent agreements and additional information needed to get to know your child and family.

To apply:

Begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

Meet the Principals

Our Admissions Director may schedule a meeting with you and our principal(s) to learn more about your family and answer any questions as we begin an important partnership together.

Enroll

Officially join the PC family! A welcome email will be sent to families with instructions on how to complete the Online Enrollment Packet beginning March 1. Within the Enrollment Packet, families will be asked to submit required Iowa medical forms, authorization of records request (for new transfer students) and additional student and family information.

Age Requirements

  • Early Education:
    • Students must be 3 years old by September 15 of that school year to attend 3s Preschool.
    • Students must be 4 years old by September 15 of that school year to attend 4s Preschool or 4/5s Spanish Immersion Preschool.
    • Students must be 5 years old by December 31 of that school year to attend 5s Preschool.
  • Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by September 15 of that school year.
  • Grades 1-12: Students must show documentation of successfully passing the previous grade.
