Pray over PC

All are invited on Monday, August 21 from 8:30am-3pm at Pella Christian Grade and Pella Christian High School campuses. This is an informal event, please come and go as you like. A resource will be provided to help guide your prayers over our students, teachers, staff and the PC community.

PCGS Back to School Night

Pella Christian Grade School families are invited to “Back to School Night” on Monday, August 21. Meet teachers and classmates, bring in school supplies and enjoy fellowship with cookies on the playground.

  • Early Education preschool classroom visits from 4:30-6:30pm
  • K-8 classroom visits from 5:30-7:30pm
  • PC apparel will be sold in the cafeteria throughout the night.
  • Learn more about TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) from Mrs. Lindsay De Vries in the Media Center at 5:45pm
  • Middle School Parents, join Mr. Dirksen and Middle School staff for a Middle School Informational meeting in the Legacy Gym at 6:30pm.

PCGS First Day Chapel

Parents, grandparents and friends are invited to join Pella Christian Grade School K-8 students and staff in kicking off the new school year and rooting in in the Lord at chapel on Wednesday, August 23 at 8:40am in the PCGS Legacy Gym. We will be digging into this year’s PC theme of Rooted in God’s Story | Arraigado en la Historia de Dios.

Following chapel, stay for a Woo Hoo/Boo Hoo coffee and fellowship time. No matter if your eyes are filled with tears of joy or tears of sorrow as the new school year begins; let’s fellowship and support one another in this new school year. Coffeetime is provided by the PC Connections Committee.

All are welcome to attend. Please enter through the PCGS front office.

PCHS Back to School Night

PCHS parents/guardians are invited to “Back to School Night” on Wednesday, August 23 beginning at 7:00pm in the Vermeer Auditorium. The evening will allow parents/guardians the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers, walk through their child’s schedule, and spend time in fellowship with others in the Pella Christian community.

First Day of School

Preschoolers: Please refer to the information from your teacher on your start date.

All Kindergarteners through 8th Graders: Wednesday, August 23 is the first day with a 12:05 p.m. dismissal. School begins at 8:20am for K-5 students and 8:30am for 6-8 students.

New High School Students (including all Freshman): Wednesday, August 23 is the first day from 8:20am – 12:00pm.

All High School Students: Thursday, August 24 from 8:20am-3:20pm (note the new start time for PCHS)
